If you have any questions regarding your appointment, or Osteopathy in general, please head to the FAQs.

On your first consultation a full case history will be taken where you will be asked to answer specific medical history and life style questions.

During the examination you will be required to wear comfortable loose fitting clothing. You may still be asked to dress down to your underwear depending on the nature of your complaint, this is optional and you will be asked if you are comfortable with this.

Both active and passive examinations will be performed and specific diagnostic tests such as neurological or cardiovascular tests may be performed. This will all be explained to you at the beginning of your assessment.

Based on the finding and nature of your complaint, hands on treatment will be performed if appropriate. You will be given specific advice and exercises to speed up your recovery and prevent reoccurrence.
